Howdy, my name is James, and I am the creator of all you see before you. It's not much at the moment, but I feel pretty good about the future and can say with absolute certainty that this is the start of a very good thing, although I may be biased in this regard.
Nevertheless, I look forward to building a blog worthy of the masses, or perhaps just others valuable time, or maybe just my own. Either way, I am glad you are here, so welcome!
It's been nearly seven years since I last had a personal website on the internet. I have had websites come and go since then, but not a personal site. I have missed being able to create content that was less formal and more engaging and relatable while having that personal feel to it. Although I'm not really a sociable person, I feel as though I have valuable knowledge and insights to share with the world at large.
This is why I create all of my websites; I feel as if I have particular insights that I want to share. However, I don't create a website just to have a presence online; there needs to be a reason, but more importantly, I need to be passionate about it, which helps ensure it goes the distance.
While all these things are important in my opinion for a website to thrive online, sometimes a website can just cease to exist and seemingly fail due to being outside of one's control, much like my last personal website. But I'm not here to dwell on the past; it's a new decade; well, we were almost half way through it, but still, and I have a good feeling about this incarnation.
What you will find here is an honest and straight-forward place that will challenge preconceived notions and embrace the eccentricity of its owner. Content from the boring and dull to the most intriguing will be found here on a fairly regular basis.
The future is mine to seize upon, and in this moment, that's exactly what I'm going to do. Let's get this party started!
